August 2024 Update: Scammers Are Still Active!

• We have recently been alerted to new scam attempts involving our company name. An individual contacted us about a fraudulent job offer from someone pretending to represent BrandLume.
• The scammer offered a fictitious “Product Optimizer” position, promising high earnings for minimal work. Additionally, they shared an application or tool bearing our name and logo designed to deceive people into believing it was part of a legitimate job offer from BrandLume.
• The scammers provided our real company address, claimed the working hours were from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and promised a too-good-to-be-true salary, including daily earnings ranging from 50 USDT to 300 USDT, with a potential monthly income of up to 6,700 USDT.
• Please beware: THIS IS A SCAM. Do not engage with such offers. BrandLume is NOT a recruitment agency, and we do not conduct hiring in this manner. These malicious activities are ongoing, and the scammers are becoming more sophisticated in their methods. Stay vigilant!

Scam Alert: We are NOT a Recruitment Agency – Original Post:

It has come to our attention that malicious individuals are attempting to scam innocent people under the guise of being affiliated with BrandLume. We want to clarify and alert everyone to these fraudulent activities. 

First and foremost, BrandLume is not a recruitment agency. We are a digital marketing agency specializing in providing top-notch marketing services to our clients. Any communication suggesting that we are involved in recruitment is false and should be treated with suspicion. 

These scams typically involve false promises of employment opportunities with BrandLume, along with offers of gift cards, phones, or other incentives. We want to emphasize that we do NOT engage in such practices. We do not conduct email campaigns soliciting employment, and we certainly do not offer incentives for recruitment purposes.

How to Spot a Scam

If you receive any communication claiming to be from BrandLume offering employment or incentives, here are some RED FLAGS TO WATCH OUT FOR:

1. Unsolicited Contact

We do not initiate contact with individuals for recruitment purposes. If you have not contacted us first, any communication claiming to be from BrandLume should be treated skeptically. 

2. Suspicious Email Addresses 

Legitimate communications from BrandLume will come from email addresses ending in “@brandlume.com“. If you receive an email from any other address claiming to be us, it is likely a scam.

3. Unsolicited Texts or Calls

We do not send unsolicited texts, or emails and make unsolicited calls regarding employment opportunities. If you receive such communication, it is not from BrandLume.

At BrandLume Inc., we NEVER text anyone, even current clients or prospects, unless it’s for a meeting reminder (and with their full consent as per Canadian laws). Anyone reaching out to you ‘on our behalf’ outside this flow or with any email address other than XXXXX@brandlume.com is a scammer.
